My dogs love these steps. They are both medium sized dogs, about 25lbs each and 11 years old, so getting up and off the bed was getting a little difficult for them. It took about a week for them to feel comfortable using it. But with a few treats and patience showing them how to use them, they learned. Now they automatically use it with no problem. It is very sturdy and stays in place on the carpet. I also love the fact that it is wide so they're not trying to get up narrow steps. I feel so much better now that they're not jumping up and down off my bed, especially because it's a higher bed. I had noticed my male dog wasn't wanting to jump on and off the bed so easily anymore and I didn't want that. Now he just walks up and down the steps with ease. My female is a little more energetic and she just charges right up the steps. Thanks for such a great product, my dogs mean the world to me and they always snuggle with me on the bed.

Light weight but kinda hard for old dog
This product was super easy to snap together, no tools required. I just had my husband push the last piece which required some effort so it all snapped together securely. Product is very light weight and easy to transport from bedroom to car. It does help our old 11.5 yr old dog with the jump from bed or car, making it three steps instead of a big jump, but it’s still hard for him and pretty steep, as you can see in the pictures. He is a medium/large dog, 56 lbs. For some reason the steps aren’t totally horizontal, they have a slight slope making it more difficult for him coming down. Also the steps would be better off with a non-slip surface than the carpet, which is still a little slippery. Also the product isn’t heavy, but that decreases the stability. If he steps on the edge I fear they could tip over. He did fall off them once- idk if he tripped or the steps tipped... regarding the car, we have a Chevy tahoe and these don’t reach, but like the bed it’s as if it was three steps. But for a regular car they would be great, or for a couch.... overall I am using them and they do help but they are still tricky for him to use. I usually am there to help guide him up and down and he does it on his own pretty much. Big plus that they are light weight bc I’ve been using them everywhere since he has required multiple vet visits lately.
