Q: Is it suitable for small seed?
A：It is suitable for feeding most types of seed and seed mixes, sunflower seeds, sunflower hearts and dry meal worms. Suet pellets is okay. Suet chunk and fatball do not fit. If you would like to use nuts, we recommend to buy our other model bird feeder for nuts.
Q: does it drop a lot of seed onto the floor when the birds are feeding?
A: This is a lovely bird feeder that holds lots of bird feed. It’s really easy to fill once empty, easy to take apart for cleaning. It drops seeds if there are more birds dancing around on it.
Q: How do you get the lid off? How to get it apart for cleaning?
A: It is easy to swivel off from top and it will reveal the opening of the plastic tube to refill and clean. Easily clean and dry up.
Q: Birds ignore it and do not get into it, what can be done?
A: Fill the feeder and leave some seed in the outer rim to make it more visible. Birds will take a while to check it out.
Q: Can this be used for peanuts?
A: Not recommend for peanuts. Feeder with small grip is better use for peanut.
