Luffy Betta Heart Marimo is so easy to take care of that it will only add a couple of minutes to your regular betta fish tank cleaning. When the marimo moss hearts first arrive, give them a quick rinse to rid them of any debris picked up during travel. For regular maintenance, the betta heart marimos have minimal requirements. They prefer indirect lighting and an ideal temperature of between 70°F – 80°F (20°C to 25°C). Every week or so, whenever you are doing normal water changes for your betta fish, give your heart marimo gentle squeeze to help remove any debris that they may have collected. If a brown spot ever appears, adjust the marimo so that the darkening area is closest to the lights. After a few days, it will return to its vibrant green hue. Fully saturated heart shaped marimo moss balls that are lying idle will need to be turned so that all sides are sunned evenly.
